A native of Lowell, MA, Nancy Donahue was discovered by Mademoiselle magazine in 1978. Nancy appeared on her first cover in the August issue with a contract for 10 more covers. At the age of 20 she signed with Elite model agency and then proceeded to shoot several covers and editorial pages for American Vogue, French Vogue, German Vogue, Italian Vogue, Italian Bazaar as well as Self, Glamour and virtually every important fashion journal. She worked with the industry ‘greats’ including Francesco Scavullo, Irving Penn, Arthur Elgort, Dennis Piel, Patrick Demarchelier, Hiro and Eric Boman. Her advertising campaigns included Helena Rubenstein, Virgina Slims and Revlon. In the early 90’s, Nancy moved back to Lowell, MA, to raise her son George. She became an NSCA Personal Trainer, a certified RYT yoga teacher and a Pilates teacher. With these qualifications, she became a Fitness Director of a high-end country club and also an award winning Pastry Chef. In 2007 Nancy co-founded BelleCore, inventing an award winning beauty tool that can be found at some of the world’s top retailers including Neiman Marcus and Harrods, top spa’s and wellness/fitness clubs.
